Ingredients

50 ml Maestror rum

½ lime, cut into wedges

8 fresh mint leaves

2 tablespoons cane sugar

100 ml soda water

Crushed ice

Mint sprig and lime wheel, for garnish

Recipe

Place the lime wedges and cane sugar in a sturdy glass. Gently muddle them to release the lime juice and oils, creating a flavorful base.

Add the fresh mint leaves and press lightly, just enough to release their aroma without bruising them. Fill the glass with crushed ice or ice cubes.

Pour in the Maestror rum and stir well to combine the ingredients evenly. Top with soda water and give the drink a gentle stir to lift the flavors together.

Finish by adding a sprig of mint and a lime wheel as garnish. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately while chilled. Enjoy!
